For the duration of an opening reception that took place on October 27 from 6-9 pm, I used my body as table legs. The table served typical reception foods. While holding this position, everything I said out loud only began with “I love….” I’ve been thinking about invisibility — the tension between being invisible while lacking agency and being invisible while holding agency. I find emotional resonance in how some things can be overlooked and also simultaneously found everywhere, in plain sight.
